Kolkata Knight Riders mired by power Fiasco

It’s not long ago, when John Buchanan Kolkata Knight riders (KKR), created a controversy, by announcing that KKR will have multiple captains, which was duly received by mixed support in cricket fraternity.

There were speculations, that there were serious differences between Coach and former captain Sourav Ganguly, who are not in talking teams after the fiasco of captaincy issue. They are in such a state of delirium, that they dint even announced their number of squad which they would be sending to South Africa.

Recently John Buhcnanan also defied the Sourav version that he wasn’t informed about the multiple captain concept stating that he has discussed with Ganguly in last edition of IPL itself.

Many cricket experts who are close ally of John Buchanan, said that even though he is no dictator, when it comes to coaching, he in one of the most candid person, who could tell anything straight at face of people and speculated that Ganguly could be in receiving end this time, if he do have serious fitness problems as speculated.

Now to aggravate it further, insiders reveal that, Sourav Ganguly and John Buchanan are in disagreement regard with inclusion of Sanjay Bangar, former Indian International player and Railways player in squad.  While Sourav thinks his experience can be valuable for KKR chances, but Buchanan evade his vision stating that thirty seven year old could not be of any immense value, to squad.

It is also learned,that KKR would leave in two batches to South Africa. When one batch along with john Buchanan would leave in April 1 and other batch with Sourav Ganguly would leave India in April 5 and KKR would commence their preparation in Bloemfontein.

There are serious speculation about their lack of depth in their fringe players, as already they can’t pick Palmar, who is said to have a suspect bowling action on whom they have a signed a three years contract for a whopping sixty lakhs and it is speculated that they lack a serious depth in quality of their fringe players.

To put to rest serious rumours, earlier KKR CEO Roy Bhattachariya appeared before press stating, that they are not going, to reveal how many players are going to South Africa and also squad and captain would be revealed when they arrive in South Africa.

Things appear gloomy for KKR, with power politics and leadership issues clouding the KKR management, but who knows KKR might be team which relishes in crisis, which could be known within next month.
