Not very long before, many IPL contracted foreign players appeared apprehensive about playing in live ipl. Now with the tournament being transferred, to South Africa, lets encroach into those cricket players and celebrities reactions over shift.

Shane Warne, who had reservations about playing in IPL, was interestingly quoted saying that, its shame, that Rajasthan Royals could not defend their title , by playing their home ground and he would have loved to see IPL being hosted in India. The festive atmosphere and euphoria which was infectious last year could not be replicated outside India.

Shane Watson, who is  also playing for Rajasthan Royals expressed his disappointment, in shifting tournament outside India, a idea which dint excite him though.

Kevin Pietersen, who was conferred recently as Bangalore royal Challengers captain had other ideas. According to him, he told he would have loved captain his franchise ,in his home country, but was quick to reinstate the fact, that IPL would be a huge success in South Africa. He banked hopes that IPL would be played in India at least next year.

For his co- teammate Andrew Flintoff, it was a huge disappointment that IPL could not flaunt from India and he said one can’t get passionate cricket crowds, anywhere across globe other than India.

Graeme Smith , South African captain was as expected optimism about the success of IPL, as he said he was astonished, to see the kind of TV audience IPL garnered and in fact he found many of home fans has already identified, with a particular franchise in last year; the personal intimacy could be a decisive factor in pulling crowds to stadium.

Sachin  Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly have also expressed their regret, in shifting IPL outside India, which is bit acerbic to Indian fans, but also stated, that there are some external factors, which are not under their control and they have to move on.

But Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, a stake holder in Rajasthan Royals is not interested in wasting any time whining and has already launched her promotional campaign in Johannesburg, by inviting all South African audience to view the cricket entertainment bonanza and make it huge success.

Kapil Dev, former Indian captain and chairman of Indian Rebel league has come heavily on BCCI for transferring IPL to South Africa, which is contradicting to their vision and mission of IPL itself.

Daniel Vettori and Brendon Mc Cullum who plays for Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively also surprisingly expressed their disappointment about IPL transfer, who were earlier, had reservations about playing in India.

Human mind is always  capricious, whether its ordinary human being or celebrity, it would be same it seems.
