Many critics thought that when Priety Zinta and her boy friend bought the franchise, it was for some glitz and glamour attached to cricket or some entertainment. There was no crescendo in that regard after that because they showcased what shrewd and prudent mind they have. They made some clever decisions like roping in Tom Moody as coach. They proved more than handful in IPl where they made many teams to bite the dust. Owners Ness Wadia clearly seems to know that there is no shortcut for success, commencing Kings Academy and conducting events like talent hunt is a testimony of that above statement.
Ramp on the field !
Kings XI Punjab is the only team which sports the most modern and agile look to it. They have players who can be termed as future, names like Ravi Bopara, Sreeshanth, Irfan Pathan , Shaun Marsh. We can be rest assured that there will be nothing short of ramp in field, with the agility of players they boost.
Team of unsung players:
When we encounter names like Yuvraj Singh, Sreesanth or Brett Lee its quite natural that other good players get eclipsed. The fact that they were successful last year not because the fame which their stars have, but because of effective contribution from players like James Hopes, Simon Katich, Shaun Marsh, Ramnaresh sarwan, Shivarine Chanderpaul and Mahela Jayawardene. They might not be most attractive for headline writers but they have proved their mettle in international arena, to act as a pillar of team.

It will be a reader’s curse, if we avoid the hottest and happening member of Kings XI Punjab by name Preity Zinta. She hit headlines not only by embracing her team players but also with her shrewd mind and strong backing of players. One can’t ask for a better promoter for team than Priety zinta. She has played a perfect foil as a promoter and no wonder why Kings Punjab XI garners a huge fan following and cynosure of all media.
Kings Punjab Xi which is the least expensive franchise in IPL, has once again reiterated the fact that money can’t speak much, when hard work and cleverness is at action .
