Chennai super Kings once again could not make the best use of explosive start given by Matthew Hayden and made a meagre 165, which proved to be a mere stroll in the park for hot and fuming Deccan Chargers.

Gilchrist set the stadium ablaze with his array of frightening, powerful stroke play, where once he looked all set to emulate Yusuf Pathan record for fastest fifty in IPL, but he got out to Suresh Raina. Both Gilchrist and Gibbs managed sixty nine valuable runs, well within sixth over winning half the battle.

One cannot stop pitying Dhoni on field, where his bowlers looked like an ordinary club bolwers meant merely, to be clubbed. He seriously ran out of option, to such an extent that suresh raina was asked to complete four overs; fortunately for captain he managed it better, than most of his other bowlers, with a decent figures of eighteen runs, along with two crucial wickets.

Gibbs was in red hot form, who matched Adam Gilchrist shot to shot and when his partner departed , he shouldered the responsibility of romping Deccan chargers home with a solid sixty nine runs with two huge sixes.

Earlier Chennai super Kings were asked, to bat first by Adam Gilchrist and they added some justice by losing Parthiv Patel in first over of Fidel Edwards. Bolwer replicated same fire power, with his fiery spells, where he pegged Chennai Super Kings in both of his spells, giving away mere twenty one runs from his four overs.

Mathhew Hayden, once again was at his imperious best,by clouting Deccan Chargers blowers all over park, where he managed eight hits, to boundaries and things looked all set, for Chennai Super Kings, to post a formidable score, but middle order once again failed, to relish on huge platform set by Matthew Hayden.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, once again could not stamp his authority, in IPL and Chennai super Kings clearly lost the momentum in middle overs, with regular fall of wickets.Jacob Oram, who was replacing Andrew Flintoff held the innings together, at the end, with some lusty hitting, by hitting two huge sixes and scoring 40 odd runs in the ipl scorecard.

One had to say, that Deccan chargers were little complacent, in chasing 165 runs, after huge impetus given by Adam Gilchrist and it was surprising, that they has, to wait for last over, to finish the match. Certainly things appear very gloomy for Chennai super kings, unless they discover back their ability of  packing a death punch to opposition, when it matters.
