England T20 world cup is just around the corner and already many countries, who are going ,to play a part in it, has listed their squads, which has sprung few intermittent surprises, among the obvious names. Countries like India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka has already announced their fifteen man squad.
We will start with ruffling the reigning T 20 champions India; there are not any major surprises here, where R P Singh claws back his place in the team and Joginder Sharma, who claimed the final wicket of Misbah Hul Haq ,to clinch trophy last year and Munaf Patel are few notable omission in the squad. Dinesh Kaarthick, who was reserve wicket keeper during last edition, of world cup, was also not preferred this time, owing to mere two week duration of the tournament and Virender shewag has managed, to stay as a deputy to Dhoni.
Moving to their Southern counterparts, Srilanka; they have a well balanced team, with a new captain, by name Kumar sangakkara. Lasith Malinga , who is having a dream period in IPL has been one of the many obvious selection. Isuru udana a twenty one year old fast bowler along with Idhika De saram, a thirty five year old middle order batmsen, are two rookies who contrived their place in Srilankan line- up.
Pakistan, the finalist, in last edition of world cup has inducted two new rookie players in their squad namely Shahsahib Hassan and Mohammad Aamir, otherwise there are no major surprise in squad, which also feature Sohaib Akthar. Abdur Razzak, Imran nazir, who managed to be listed among thirty probable’s despite ICL connections, are the other notable omissions.
Mean while Bangladesh has retained struggling Ahsraful, as their captain and also has recalled Abdur Razzak, who was reported for suspect action. They have also conferred a place for two rookie batsmen by name Shamsur Rahman and Mithun Ali, with almost unchanged bowling line – up, which they fielded in their previous T20 international.
Moving to IPL nation in Africa, they have inducted Yusuf Abdullah, who has caught eyelashes, of every one with his good performance in this year’s IPL and also named Johan Botha, who was reported for suspect action. There is no rookie players this time in their squad and also Robin Peterson, Justin Ontong has managed to retain their place in squad.
